Details Three rows of terraced cottages, still in use, built in the 18th century. On the 1st edition OS map a detached rectangular building is shown to the west of the southern row, which is removed by the 2nd edition OS map. Numbers 1 and 2 were formerly an inn with stables, and are also known as 'Scroggerfield', and number 3 is shown on current maps as the 'Old Post Office'. Numbers 7-9 were built as estate cottages, and numbers 10-15 were built as mill workers' houses in circa 1792, and are known as 'The Row'. They are all rubble-built, single-storey cottages with slate roofs. Some are whitewashed or harled, and some have modern tiles on the roofs. A photographic survey of Number 13 was carried out in 2017 prior to proposed alterations. A photographic survey of Number 15 was carried out in 2017 prior to proposed alterations.
