Details	Site of cists. Four or five cists, according to the OS Name Book, were dug up here by Mr Warden (Rosekinghall) about 1850. Each contained an urn and bones. One of the urns was ornamented, the others, plain. One cist was smaller than the rest, and contained a smaller urn. When revisited by the OS in 1967, local enquiries produced no further information and there was nothing significant at the find spot.
