Details Stables with an attached steading and cottages for Downie Park House (NO45NW0037), in residential use. The stables are dated 1805, and the steading and cottages to the rear are dated 1812 It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as two parallel T-plan ranges, and depicted as offices. On the 2nd edition OS map there is an extension to the north end of the east range, which also has an unroofed section. Current maps show the extension has been removed, and the buildings are all roofed again. It has a classic single- and two-storey symmetrical stable front that has corner towers with pyramidal roofs.
