Details Sundial, dated 1810. A freestone fluted roman Doric column is on a square base, supporting a table dial with a plate engraved, 'W.P.H. Rattray, Downie Park, 1810.' The sundial is just to the south of Downie Park House (NO45NW0037). On the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps the property is shown as Downiepark. There is also another sundial shown north of the house, at NO 40904 58674, which is no longer shown on the current OS maps.
