Details Remains of an enclosure on the south side of Ballinshoe Castle (NO45SW0001), depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition shows it partially occupied by trees, probably an orchard. By the time of the 2nd edition map a small building had been added abutting the internal east wall. This was removed some time after 1922, and a 1965 OS maps shows a small building within the enclosure just to the south of the castle ruin.
