Kerb cairn. White Cairn is situated on the edge of a cleared part of the moor. It is a large artificially constructed circle of small stones, circa 10.5 m in diameter by 0.6 m high, with a few large boulders spread around the perimeter of the cairn forming a retaining kerb. Depicted on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps.
