Period Notes

Period Notes The church probably originally dates to 1147. There is a bell within the church dated 1664, and the east aisle is dated 1681, which is when it was rebuilt. The current church was built in 1851, and replaced all but the burial aisle of the earlier church. The loupin' on stane (mounting block) is probably 18th century. The church, aisle and loupin' on stane were all listed on 11/06/1971.
