Site Condition Incomplete
Details Remains of a church on the site of its predecessor. The original church was the church of Fothmuref bestowed by William the Lion to the Abbey of Arbroath on its foundation. This was changed to Barry by Alexander II in 1229). The first church was dedicated by Bishop David of St Andrews in 1243. The present parish church was built in 1800, extended to T-plan and lofts added in 1818. The church has been unused since 1952 and is now derelict. Within the graveyard there are 12 Commonwealth war graves, of both World Wars.
