Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map (circa 1846) it is shown as consisting of a double courted steading, with the second court being on the exterior of the west wing of the first and both being on different alignments, the northern being open to the south-southeast and the western to the west. The northern steading has a horsemill at the north-western corner and a compact L-shaped building with garden at the end of the east wing, probably the farmhouse. There are also outbuildings and enclosures on the east wing. The western court has a range of buildings to the immediate south and a pond to the south-east. By the 2nd edition OS map (circa 1888) the horsemill has been removed and the western court has been roofed over. The 2006 map shows that the northern court has also been roofed over and that the pond has been drained, and its site has been returned to agriculture.
