Details	Remains of a probable clearance cairn. One of a number of 'circular heaps of moor stones' supposed to result from a battle between the Picts and the Romans . Faint traces of this cairn were noted in 1966. RCAHMS survey in 1978 recorded remains of a field system (N55SE0001). This cairn is situated at the east end of the field-system and it seems probable that it, and those noted on NO55SE0001 are all field clearance, perhaps associated with the hut circle.
