Details Two ice houses were constructed in the woods to the northwest of Banamoon House (NO56SE0126). The first is shown only on the 1st edition OS map and was situated at NO 5506 6378. It is a large, deep brick built barrel-vaulted rectangle, probably of early 19th century date. The second, to the west, is shown on the OS maps from the 2nd edition OS map onwards.
