Croft and steading, still in use, built in the late 18th century with 19th century alterations. It is a single-storey and attic, three-bay croft with an L-plan steading to the rear. The croft is constructed from coursed granite rubble with long and short dressings, nine- and four-pane timber sash and case windows, a graded grey slate roof with a tiled ridge, coped granite gablehead stacks with circular and octagonal cans, and cast-iron rainwater goods. The steading is constructed from granite with a slate and corrugated iron roof, boarded timber doors and skylights to the roofs. Timber hay hecks survive in the north-west block. a souter's shop was added to the south of the croft in circa 1897 (NO59NE0101).
