Walled garden, built in the 17th century and altered in 1784. It is to the east of Ethie Castle (NO64NE0097), to which it is joined by a wall. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as having tree-lined paths quartering the garden, with a central sundial and two off-centre greenhouses to the north-east. There is a garden storehouse (NO64NE0099) to the south-east. On the 2nd edition OS map, the trees lining the path have been removed. There are three additional greenhouses around the original one, and another has been added against the inside of the north wall. Current maps show the building at the north wall has been removed, as has the sundial, one of the off-centre greenhouses and the paths quartering the garden. The enclosing walls are rubble-built and on average ten feet (3 metres) high, with entry gates and inset bee-boles.
