Remains of a chapel, rebuilt to form a private burial place in the 19th century, within a walled enclosure. The 1st edition OS map depicts it as the remains of a chapel, with the enclosure containing trees and the rectangular remains central within the enclosure. On the 2nd edition OS map, the trees have been removed. D Miller wrote in 1860 that it was named the chapel of 'Whitefield of Boysack', and that it was probably the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Quhitfield mentioned in 1470. A visit by OS in 1958 could not find any early masonry and suggested that while the north wall of the 19th century burial place occupies the lower foundations of the chapel, the chapel would seem to have been entirely removed during the rebuild. The burial place measures 10 metres by 7 metres (33 feet by 23 feet), and the rubble walls of the remains stand to 1.8 metres (6 feet) high and are featureless.
