Details	Possible site of a mint. The antiquarian G. Cumming, in 1843 wrote, 'it would appear that at some remote period the town (Arbroath) was known by the name of Abrinca, and that it had possessed a mint, at which coins bearing the name of Abrinca were struck but which are now very rare'. No further information.
