Details Farmstead, depicted on historic OS maps, the agricultural buildings all now disused. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map (then named Whitewell) as two buildings, joining to form an L-plan, one with attached horsemill, the other with attached garden enclosure. The horsemill had been removed by the time of the 2nd edition OS map which also shows additions to the existing steading, a new range to the west and new building (house) to the south. The original steading buildings were subsequently extended. It is now named Tarriebank Home Farm. Described in the Forfarshire (Angus) OS Name Books, 1857-1861 volume 80 (OS1/14/80/61) as: 'A small farm house situated a short distance south of Tarrybank - it is the property of Messrs. Smith and Tenanted by Mr. Andrew Webster.'.
