Cropmarks of a circular enclosure and other features recorded by the RCAHMS from 1976 onwards and AAS in 2000. Its ditch, which measures about 5m in breadth, encloses a circular area measuring about 35m in diameter. There is a possible entrance on the east side. Harding and Lee consider it to be domestic or defensive in origin and not a henge-related monument. In the same field there are pits and possible souterrains and a barrow, 5m in diameter, 50m to the east-southeast of the enclosure as well as a number of indeterminate cropmarks scattered across the field, including a crescentic mark to the southeast. An area of rig-and-furrow cultivation, aligned north-northwest to south-southeast runs across the entire field intersecting the enclosure and the barrow.
