Maryton war memorial, set within the south entrance to Maryton Parish Church (NO65NE0017). A squat rectangular structure of rough-hewn blocks, on a single step plinth and enclosed partly by a low stone wall and partly by iron railings. Set into the front face of the memorial is a smooth clab on which are listed the names of those lost in both World Wars. Against the east wall of the enclosure is a separate engraved stone slab facing west which is, the Maryton school memorial commemorating former pupils killed 1914-1918.
