Former tollhouse, in residential use, built in the late-18th century. On the 1st edition OS map (1862), it is marked as 'Leuchland T. P.', and is a rectangular building with a small extension to the West end. A pump is also shown at the South-facing front elevation. On the 2nd edition OS map (1901), the Western end is shown as having been further extended. The Eastern end is also shown as having an extension covering most of the elevation, and projecting to the South. There is an unroofed extension shown on the South elevation by the pump. It is also now annotated as 'East Toll House'. On the revised 2nd edition OS map (1922), the later extensions to the East and West have been removed, and the previously unroofed extension on the South elevation has been roofed. The tollhouse is a single-storey harled building, with black painted margins and cavetto skewputts. There are end stacks on the gabled slate roof. The building has been returned to its earlier plan shown the 1st edition OS map, with a small extension on the West end and a gabled projecting bay to the rear. . The South-facing front has four bays with an off-centre entrance. The extension on the West gable end is recessed from the South elevation. The extension's South elevation is harled with black painted margins, but the rest of its elevation shows the rubble walling and squared long and short quoins. It has a piended corrugated asbestos roof.
