Details Bothy, built in circa 1800. It is associated with Arrat Mill (NO65NW0045), and would appear to have originally been a part of a steading shown on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps (1861 and 1901). It was originally built as a single-storey rubble-built box, with large ashlar dressings. It was raised to two stories in the mid-19th century, with snecked rubble and stugged ashlar dressings, and a piended roof with a single boarded dormer. It retains the original glazing, although the lower opening is shuttered.
