Details Site of possible fortified house. Warden (1882) noted that 'the dwelling house on the farm of Courthill was a building of great strength and the walls were nearly as thick as those of Redcastle'. This building was alleged to be the site where the barons of Redcastle held court. A visit by the OS in 1958 recorded that the farm was 'wholly modern and the owner knows nothing of any court-hill or building of strength'. Also suggested as a possible motte.
