Details Site of a cist. The burial cist of an infant was investigated during the winter of 1982-3 by the Lunan Valley Project. It was 0.4m long x 0.25m wide, constructed with slabbed floor and sides and cut into the back-filled terminal of a ditch which also overlies a post-built house excavated at the same time. The cist was empty. It is suggested that it contained the inhumation of a child.
