Remains of a tumulus. Noted at this point by Roy (published 1793), it is an almost circular, flat-topped mound, 6.5m by 7.0m on top and about 2m in height. It is situated on a ridge and commanding an extensive view all round. There is no surrounding ditch. This may be a barrow or cairn, but there is insufficient evidence. It is situated on a low knoll now in a belt of trees, 670m northeast of Templewood farmhouse.
