Details Former lodge house, located on the central entrance to the Fasque Estate. Depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. Is is a small single-storey, L-plan cottage with attic and a small 2-storey extension to the southeast. Constructed of red sandstone rubble with a high pitched slate roof with skews and chimneys to northwest and southeast gables. The southwest elevation, facing the road, has a small square porch to the centre and double timber sash and case windows. The southeast bay of the southwest elevation projects forward with a ground floor double sash and case window and small thin rectangular attic window. Standing building survey was carried out by AOC in 2016.
