Details Farmstead, dating from the 1870s. The 2nd edition map shows a quadrangular steading with two courts, and an L-plan range extending to the north. Further north are three parallel rectangular buildings, although two of these have since been removed. Standing building survey was carried out by AOC Archaeology in August 2016 prior to renovation. The layout is essentially unchanged from the original, although later detached barns have been added to the north and west and some of the original openings have been blocked after some changes of function to the interior spaces. It replaced an earlier Home Farm to the south of Fasque House (NO67NW0016). The present farmstead comprises two main buildings belonging to the original phase of construction, a large cattle court to the southeast (including byres and former) cart sheds, and the L-plan range to the north which contained workshops and a saw mill. The major changes to the steading occurred after the late 1950s when three larger steel barns were added.
