Details Road bridge, still in use. On the 1st and 2nd edition OS map, it is named Gannachy Bridge. There is a rib arch dated 1732, however some sources record the date of construction as 1724. The bridge was paid for by James Wood, a local farmer, who employed a mason to build the arch but constructed the parapet walls himself. It was widened in 1795 by Lord Adam Gordon, with the widened section of the bridge bearing this date. The bridge has a single arch. The earlier portion of the bridge has a dated rib arch with stepped moulding above, and the later expansion is simpler. The bridge crosses between Angus and Aberdeenshire council areas (see NO67SW0138 in Aberdeenshire HER).
