Details Dovecot, built in the 17th century to the east of Balbegno Castle (NO67SW0002). It is a rectangular dovecot, measuring 18 feet 9 inches (5.7 metres) by 16 feet 4 inches (5 metres), constructed from red rubble. The entry is in the west gable, and there is a rat-course and a stone slated pitched roof with crowsteps. The nesting boxes have been removed.
