Shop, still in use, built in the mid to late 19th century with a circa 1880-1900 shopfront. It is a two-storey and attic building with three regular bays constructed from granite rubble with pinnings, an ashlar eaves band and a slate roof with a pair of canted dormers widely spaced over the outer bays, dentilled eaves, a small contemporary skylight at the centre, ashlar skews and a red tiled ridge. Some original four-pane sash and case glazing remains at the first floor and the attic. The shopfront has a pair of symmetrically arranged entrances set back between picture windows, which have a granite ashlar base course, narrow cast-iron columns with diminutive Ionic style capitals at the arrises and glazing curved at entrance splays. There is a timber frieze with a dentilled cornice and elaborate consoles (centre console removed) and fan detailed semi-circular timber die blocks over. An original 19th century gilded cast-iron pharmacist shop sign (mortar and pestle) is canted out on a decorative bracket.
