Details Weir, now in use as a fishing dyke, shown on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. It is of masonry construction, but has a concrete fish pass and there are some repairs from armour stone or concrete. It was partially breached along the south dyke arm during a flood in November 2013. It partially crosses into Angus Council, and a mill lade leads from here to the Kinnaber Pumping Station (see NO76SW0065 in the Angus HER).
