Details Walled garden within the designed landscape (NO76SW0067) of the now demolished Charleton House, shown on the historic OS maps. On the OS 1st edition map, a long rectangular greenhouse is shown on the south elevation of the north wall, with a rectangular building on the north elevation. A rectangular building is shown in the external return of the outshot in the east. On the OS 2nd edition map a further two greenhouses are shown to the south and east of the original greenhouse. The walled garden is approximately rectangular with an eastern outshot in the southeast corner. Plain, rubble built walls with a Gothic gate in the west wall. On the current OS map, the garden walls remain shown along with the rectangular building in the outshot return. The former garden is now part of Charleton Farm (NO76SW0165).
