Details Former chapel and mortuary, part of the Sunnyside Hospital (NO76SW0063) complex. Constructed in the second half of the 20th century, it is of dressed ashlar stone, rectangular in plan and 2-storey. The building is sited on a slope allowing access to the ground floor (mortuary) from the south, and to the first floor chapel directly from the higher ground to the north. Roofs are of grey slate with a roof vent, and there are cast iron rainwater goods with some decorative hoppers. Standing building survey was carried out in January 2019 ahead of redevelopment of the hospital site.
