House, part of the Sunnyside Hospital complex (NO76SW0063), constructed in the mid 20th century to house elderly patients. Built of Dundee stone on the southwest facade, rendered on the other sides, with grey slate roofs, and metal window frames, and painted rainwater goods with some decorative hoppers. A central block (which contained day roos) is flanked by wings (wards) to the front forming an open C-plan. The central block is of 2-storeys with additional accommodation in the attic which has a mansard roof with dormer windows. The flanking wings are 2-storey, there are shorter wings extending to the rear which contained bathrooms. Relatively few internal fittings remain. At the entrance to each ward was a timber frame nurses' station. Rooms on the second floor appear to have been individual bedrooms. Standing building survey of Angus House was carried out in January 2019 ahead of proposed redevelopment. Photographic recording of the outbuilding to the rear of Angus House was carried out in January 2019.
