Details Well depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. It stands in the western corner of the churchyard and is a square ashlar structure with a shallow pyramidal roof. On the street side are openings for the handle and spout, although the metalwork for this has been removed. There is a second slot, presumably for a handle and what looks to be a hole for a spout in the opposite side. A similar well (NO77SW0129) stands further down the High Street at No. 163, and both are very similar to Duthie's Well (NO88NE0309) at Stonehaven.
