Details |
Lodge, still in use, built in the later 19th century by Archibald Simpson and set within the Park House designed landscape (NO79NE0049). It is single-storey and attic, harled lodge with margins and a proto-doric porch. The original fenestration has been altered to four-pane. According to the Listing description it was possibly built in circa 1822. However it is not shown on the mid 19th century 1st edition OS map, first being shown on the 2nd edition, suggesting the build date must be later.
