Details A small war memorial stands in the grounds of St Phillips Episcopal Church at Catterline (NO87NE0045). It commemorates the members of the congregation who died during both World War I and II. It is a simple rough hewn memorial with a small cross on top. There is now some fading of the lettering. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive. A watching brief was carried out by Alder Archaeology in September 2019 during consolidation work on the memorial but no features or finds of archaeological interest were exposed.
