Remains of a cairn, the remains visible as a vague turf-covered swelling. Around the southeast arc are six rough boulders similar to kerb stones around adjacent cairn NO87NW0005. Some of these are displaced, the others almost certainly form part of a kerb. Scheduling entry records the remains of at least six burial cairns and a hut circle on the top of Montgoldrum Hill. The largest cairn measures circa 18.5m in diameter and 0.7m high. To the southwest a cairn depicted as 'The Camp' measures circa 17.8m in diameter (NO87NW0005). To the north-northeast is a line of three low cairns with a further low cairn to the northwest. The hut circle lies east of the cairns, and measures 10.5m in diameter defined by a turf-covered wall circa 0.2m high.
