Details Site of a ford, recorded in the OS name book as being at a place called Tilbouries, and supposed to have been used by the Roman army. Shown on the OS 1st edition map as a suppose Roman ford and on the 2nd edition as an Old Ford. No trace of a ford was found by OS site visit in 1961. Also recorded on Aberdeenshire HER as NO89NW0039
