Details Tor Castle or Castle of Dallas, erected in the mid 15th Century and enlarged periodically until the mid 17th Century when it was abandoned. The site of the tower in the southeast angle was traceable in 1871. The entrance and drawbridge faced east over the moat. The moat was filled in 1955, and is now only visible to the south of a drain bisecting site. Parts of the north and west tower walls remain but the gateway and drawbridge are no longer visible.
