Details War Memorial. It is a Corinthian sandstone column on a square die and 3 stepped circular base and is surmounted by a representation of celestial flame. Memorial constructed of polished and tooled ashlar. Bronze plaques affixed to plinth inscribed with names of fallen of WW1 and WW2. Beside the plaques, the memorial is inscribed 'In honoured and grateful remembrance of those men from the Parish of Bellie whose names are inscribed hereon and who fell in the Great War 1914-1919'. Designed by A. Marshall Mackenzie, Aberdeen, 1922. Overall in good condition with some weathering to sandstone column. Set within grassed entrance to Gordon Castle.
