Details Mansion house. Knockespock (from the gaelic for 'Bishop's Hill') is a largely 18th Century building incorporating earlier towers. In the 16th Century, Knockespock consisted only of two round towers, each of three storeys with lower walls 2m thick, joined together. The houses was added to numerous times over the years, until the late 19th century at which time an imposing Victorian addition, bigger than original house was added. Permission was given for this part of the house to be demolished in 1978.
