Details Station opened by the Great North of Scotland railway. It has two unusual wooden roofs with trusses supporting awnings over both platforms, in simple Italianate style. It is a 2-platform through station with main offices on the down platform. The station building has 2-light windows with consoled cornices, and a broad-eaved piend roof which is now partly re-modelled. On the east side of the station is a goods yard.
