War memorial and garden, commemorating those of the parish of Newhills killed or missing in the First and Second World Wars. It is in the form a a tall octagonal column, surmounted by a lion holding a shield, set on a base with buttresses formed by panels for the rolls of honour. This stands on a circular base set in a paved area backed by a stone wall. The central panel of the base bears the inscription TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE MEN OF NEWHILLS PARISH WHO PAID THE SUPREME SACRIFICE IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919. THEIR MEMORY HALLOWED IN THE LAND THEY LOVED. Names of those lost in World War I are inscribed on the base; those lost in World War II on the buttresses, Also known as the Bucksburn War Memorial
