House built circa 1800, in classical style. It is built of squared rubble with ashlar margins, 2-storey with an attic, 3-window, the outer two first floor windows Venetian. The presence of the Venetian windows suggests that the principal rooms were on the first floor. Windows are mainly sash and case with 12-pane glazing, the roof is of grey slate with squared rubble gable stacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. The house retains a decorative timber doorpiece and fanlight. Its original clock with longeese work is contained within a box on the wall.
