Details Viaduct built 1865-7 carrying the road (Bridge Street) over Windmill Brae. One of a series bridges built to open up new areas of the city for development. Built by engineer John Willett it comprises a series of arches of diminishing height. An arch exposed at Windmill Brae is of brick with stone spandrels.
