Details Four inscribed stones built into a wall in Seamount place, Gallowgate. The largest is a lintel with an anchor in the centre and the initials 'DF' and 'EI'. The other three are skewputts, inscribed '1764/W.L.', 'AM/1679' and '1777/A.M./H.F.'. They probably came from one or more late 17th or 18th century houses in the area of Seamount Place.
