Details Brick garden terrace, part of Bon Accord Crescent Gardens (NJ90NW0158), dating from the earlier 19th century. These were originally created as private gardens for the houses of Bon Accord Crescent, construction of which began in 1823, the gardens being in long strips running down the hill. In the 20th Century the gardens were used as a market garden until the 1970s, and then landscaped to form an open public park. Only this single terrace survive these changes. On three levels it is faced with red brick with predominantly random stone rubble to the side elevations, with mainly flat or slightly bowed stone coping. There is some stone flag paving in an area in front of the lowest level.
