Details Former salmon fishing station. Depicted on the OS 1st edition, named Whitehall, and on the 2nd edition named Nether Don. At the front the house had an archway of whale jaw bones taken from Captain Forsythe's ship in 1850 from Wellington Inlet whilst on search for the Franklin expedition. On an 1802 map is labelled as Corff House. It was in use into the mid 20th century, as evidence by an advert of the Aberdeen Salmon Fishing Company Limited in the Press and Journal in 1965 for an overseer for their 'salmon net fishings at Nether Don'.
