Details	A watching brief was carried out by S Buchanan in July 2007 during groundworks at Crombie Mills (formerly known as Grandholm Mills, see also NJ90NW0096). Only one archaeological feature was identified, a stone structure probably associated with water management (possibly part of a mill lade) of probable 19th century date. It is possible that this did not relate to the main function of the mill. No other archaeological deposits were uncovered.
