Details Site of St John's well, depicted on the OS 1st edition 25in map, now relocated to Albyn Place (NJ90NW0055). It had previously stood on St John's Croft. A building was erected over it in 1852, when a Latin inscription was added which translates to 'St John's Spring, Renovated by the Superintendent of Public Works, 1852' . It was moved to Skene Row in 1885 (when Rosemount Viaduct was built) to Skene Row
