Former tram shelter and public conveniences dating from the early 20th century. It is single storey, on a curved plan, built of square rough-faced coursed grey granite finely finished to the margins, with a piended grey slate roof with lead ridges. There is an octagonal lead clock tower and ventilator to the centre of the ridge. The main (south) elevation includes former lavatory entrances, now blocked up, with sighs above (GENTLEMEN to the south, LADIES to the north). Now a shop premises.
